Software Services

Customized EDI software development is often a complex, lengthy and expensive process. Major software projects often go over estimate for time and cost, not to mention how difficult they are to maintain. We eliminate much of this worry by implementing Bots Open Source EDI Translator. It provides all of the basic framework, but is also infinitely customisable to suit your requirements. That way, if your requirements are simple, we can provide some basic configuration and document mapping. If your requirements are more complex we can still handle them within the same scalable framework.

There are no initial or ongoing licensing or transactional costs for the EDI software. You will only pay for the installation and customisation required.

Document Mapping Services

Our main service is to provide the document analysis and mapping required for your EDI processes. This involves detailed knowledge of the EDI standards involved, as well as documentation of the formats as provided by the client and/or their trading partner. We will also discuss with you the detailed requirements, as often not everything in the document is really needed.

Some examples

Your software can export invoices as CSV files, but your trading partner requires them in EDIFACT D.96B HIWG format. We can do this mapping for you!
Your shipping system generates shipping manifests as PDF files, but your freight carrier will give a better rate if you can put barcoded labels on each carton in the shipment. We can do this mapping for you!
Your biggest customer wants to send you orders in XML format, but you can only accept IDocs. We can do this mapping for you!

You can have as many formats and mappings as required; every one of your partners may require something different, that is no problem.

Mapping tables

As part of the document mapping, perhaps some value translation is required. This can be managed with translation tables included as part of the mapping. These tables are maintainable into the future by you. For example…

Logging

If you require, we can include log files for reporting, for example a daily email report of the number of orders received.

Training Services
